Tailgate Season is here!
Louisiana’s 1st Choice Auto Auction Kicks off football season with an exciting Tailgate Event!
Make plans to attend our annual Tailgate Event, Tuesday, August 21. We expect 800 vehicles and $10,000 in tailgate themed prizes, including a custom tailgate party courtesy of 1st Choice. We will offer free 28-Day float for qualified buyers of any 6F (fleet/lease) vehicle and will serve root beer floats in the lanes. Former New Orleans Saints cornerback, Tracy Porter, will be signing autographs and taking photos to round out the festivities. It will be a fun tailgate party while you work. Please join us!
Look for a new LAFCAA event on September 18 as we celebrate National Cheeseburger Day. We will consign 700 vehicles, hold a cheese burger eating contest, and play an exciting game of “build your cheeseburger” based on the cars you purchase. The winner of the cheeseburger eating contest will win a $100 American Express gift card and bragging rights. Each lane will have a cheeseburger component (Lane 1=bun, Lane 2=cheese, etc.) and the dealer with the most complete cheeseburgers will win a $200 gift card. Dealers will also be eligible to win grilling themed prizes. Come buy and sell cars with us while we celebrate National Cheeseburger Day at 1st Choice!
Finally, please consider participating in our 9th Annual Charity Golf Tournament benefitting Options, CAS/CASA, and Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center. This year’s tournament will be Friday, October 26, at Oak Knoll Country Club in Hammond, Louisiana. Check our website for more details on how to be a sponsor or register to play at www.lafcaa.com/golf-tournament. Join us in giving back to these worthy organizations while building relationships with your industry colleagues.
I continue to be impressed by the commitment of our employees to our auction mission and always appreciate the loyalty and support of Louisiana’s 1st Choice Auto Auction by our auto dealer community. I consider us all on the same team striving for a win every Tuesday. See you next Tuesday!
