Last Friday, October 26 was a feel good day for us and three organizations that we have supported for years. We had our ninth annual charity golf tournament at Oak Knoll Golf Club and it was a great event for everyone, including our sponsors, our golfers, and, especially the recipients of our fund raising efforts. We raised $8000 each for Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, Options, Inc. and CASA. In addition, we raised an additional $15,000 for Mary Bird Perkins during October for breast cancer awareness.
It was also announced last month that we were voted one of the 25 Best Auctions to work for in North America by Automotive Remarketing Magazine. This is the third consecutive year that we’ve won this award and we are very proud of our team and its success. While it’s great to win recognition such as this, the real reward is in knowing that our approach to business rings true to so many customers, employees, vendors and our peers. Customers want to do business with us because of who we are. Employees want to work for us because we recognize that outstanding service truly does begin with outstanding people. Vendors appreciate us because we pay on time and try to include them in our processes. Finally, our peers recognize us because we are great examples to the industry of a quality driven, community centered, and successful business. Congratulations to us!
