The traditional New Orleans celebration that begins on January 6th (the Feast of the Epiphany) and continues until the night before Ash Wednesday (Fat Tuesday) is a huge party with parades of “Krewes” riding on decorated floats, dressed in masks and costumes, throwing beads to the crowds, and enjoying all manner of revelry. Basically, it’s the world’s biggest party!

At Louisiana’s 1st Choice Auto Auction we celebrate carnival with our Rockin’ Mardi Gras Sale Event. We begin with our Tuesday, Feb. 10th Rockin’ Mardi Gras Sale featuring 1000 vehicles including 150 fleet/lease units and 850 dealer trades. This year’s featured consignors in Lane 3 are CPS and CAC/VRS. Cars will begin crossing the blocks at 8:20am so get an early start to catch all the action. We’ll have complimentary king cake, breakfast, and coffee waiting for you. And lunch too!

The fun continues with our Rockin’ Mardi Gras party being held this year at the House of Blues Parish Room in New Orleans on Tuesday night from 7-10pm. It’s a private event so you’ll need to be on the guest list and show your entry pass/lanyard to join us. There will be music from local favorites Mixed Nuts and excellent food and beverages. The “Krewe of 1st Choice” doesn’t wear masks or ride on floats but we do throw a great party for our loyal customers. If you have questions about the event see Bridget Higginbotham.
