November is one of the best months of the year. The football season is in full swing, the weather is wonderful in South Louisiana, and the holiday season gets started with my personal favorite, Thanksgiving (lots of good food and no gift buying decisions!).  November is also the month that Americans highlight all of the things for which they are thankful.  I am thankful for my health and every day that I spend with my family.  I am thankful for my incredible auction team and our loyal customers.  And I am thankful for the generosity of our staff, customers, and vendors in all our charitable endeavors.
As we reflect on all that we are thankful for this month, we will continue our fund raising efforts and focus once again on St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  One of our drivers, Karl Hutzelmann, has a 20 month old grandson being treated for retinoblastoma at St. Jude.  I invite you to participate in the “Give Thanks to St. Jude” walk in Baton Rouge on November 22.
