It’s hard to believe that summer is already drawing to a close. Schools are beginning fall sessions, and everyone is anxiously awaiting the arrival of cooler weather. Here at 1st Choice we are busy with final preparations for our last summer event, our 5th Annual Tail Gate Sale, featuring over 700 vehicles on August 26. Our featured fleet/lease consignors are ARI and Credit Acceptance/VRS which will have about 100 units total. We will have drawings after the sale of over $4000 in prizes sure to make your upcoming tail gate parties are the talk of the parking lot! Your sale or purchase of at least one vehicle will be your entry in the drawings and you must be present to win. We will have our customary free breakfast and lunch and a few extra treats to kick of football season in style so be sure to attend this exciting sale.
Many of you know Megan Romano of Romano Promotions. She sets up shop in our breezeway every other week to make it easy for our dealers to purchase items for their businesses. Her 9 year old niece, Reagan Sisson, is battling a rare form of ovarian cancer. Reagan has formed a fund raising team, Reagan’s ROARiors, to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital where she received free treatment. She has had successful surgery to remove the tumor and only requires one more series of chemo treatments to beat her cancer. She is committed to helping other children who are facing similar battles and we hope you will join us in assisting her with that goal.
We will have a candy and bake sale at our Tail Gate event and all proceeds will go to St. Jude’s. We will ask those who get a free Kona shaved ice to make a donation which will go to St. Jude’s. We will award $20,000 John Dough to any dealer who donates at least $25 to the cause. And finally, we have a special lagniappe surprise for everyone…Brittany Guidry, Miss Louisiana and 3rd runner up in the Miss USA pageant, will be here for photos with the dealers (for a donation to St. Jude of course).
