I have been waiting for winter to end for weeks but for some reason nature has chosen to ignore our calendar! Spring is the time of year when we feel the miracle of renewal as the plants and flowers bloom, the birds start singing, and the butterflies shed their cocoons. It is a time of hope and optimism. Every baseball fan knows that his or her team has a chance to go to the World Series and everyone is tied for first place. But this spring has had a special significance to us here at Louisiana’s 1st Choice Auto Auction. Over the past few months, three of our employees have had babies and the excitement shows! First, Jessica Dugas gave birth to a little boy, Brayden. That event was followed closely by Jeff Martin’s wife, Jodie having a daughter, Kennedie, and then Matt and Katie Alombro added little Alex to the LAFCAA baby krewe. I want to congratulate all of the proud parents and wish the best for them and their families.

Our employees and their families are important to us and we want them to succeed and have happy lives. I believe that we work well as a team because we do care about each other. And, that actually translates into good service and a positive experience for our customers. In fact, that is part of the foundation of our motto, “Outstanding service begins with outstanding people!” So, the next time you’re here congratulate the new moms and dads… and all of us aunts, uncles, and grandparents!
