Matt Alombro

Matt Alombro has been with Louisiana’s 1st Choice Auto Auction since 2007. He worked part-time in the vehicle registration department while attending Southeastern Louisiana University. After graduation in 2009, he moved into an outside operations leadership position and specialized in arbitrations.

He graduated from Auction Academy in 2014; and attended the National Auto Auction Leadership Institute that year. In 2015 he graduated from the Advanced Management Leadership Program, a six-month course of study focusing on best practices and skill-building for the next generation of auction leaders. Before his promotion to Auction Manager in 2018, he served as Operations Manager and Assistant General Manager of Operations responsible for all outside operations including vehicle registration, transportation, vehicle detail, sale day operations, post-sale inspections, and arbitrations. As of 2019, Matt is a Certified Automotive Remarketer.

He has served on the Board of Directors of Options Disability Services since 2014. He and his beautiful wife, Katie, have three children.
